Mrs. Akhila S R, is a RCI certified Special Educator & holds a Diploma in Autism Spectrum Disorder from Spastics Society of Karnataka, being a trained Montessorian. In the past 15 yrs she has worked with over 300+ children ranging from infants from ages 1 year to 35 yrs old. Her experience covers Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and children with Dyslexia etc. She has worked in different Special Schools as a Special Educator and was a Founder Director for one of the Special Schools in Bangalore.
Her vision is to create affordable therapies under one shelter. She also wants to provide functional education to all the children with special needs and make them ready for employment and also provide employment to those who are ready and willing to work. She would like to collaborate with various primary schools to provide training to the teachers so that they are well equipped to handle children with special needs in their environments.
As a Special Educator and the founder of the organisation she believes that every individual with special needs should be equipped with a skill for them to earn and lead a self reliant, independent and a confident life ahead.
