We at Jasa Horizons are aiming to create a meaningful learning environment in order to propel the child towards an independent life. The curriculum design is such that the child gathers the necessary life skills and attains capability to pursue a Vocation of Choice.

At Jasa Horizons we believe that every Human Being has a right to contribute and make a positive influence to its surroundings. This is also applicable for all the children. And so at Jasa we work with children and young adults with diversified needs, enabling them to address their own primary needs, to be cognizant of their surroundings and then depending on their capability make them acquire a set of technical and vocational work skill which will enable them to live a life of dignified contentment.

Jasa Horizons is working to address the needs of the children with Developmental delays, Speech & Language Difficulty, Downs syndrome, Intellectual Disability and Autism to supplement them in the targeted areas which make learning effective.

To be an enabler to achieve maximum independence, accomplished through a safe and quality program of meaningful education leading to specific lifetime goals, therapeutic recreation and to ensure that all affected can reach their full potential.in a year round barrier- free environment.

Mrs. Akhila S R, holds a Diploma in Autism Spectrum Disorder from Spastics Society of Karnataka. She is a trained Montessorian too. In the last 12 yrs she has worked with over 300+ children ranging from infants of 01 year of age to adults aged to 35 yrs old. Her experience covers Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and children with Dyslexia etc. She has worked in different Special Schools as a Special Educator and was a Founder Director for one of the Special Schools in Bangalore.

Her vision is to create affordable therapies under one shelter. She also wants to provide functional education to all the children with special needs and make them ready for employment and also provide employment to those who are ready and willing to work. She would like to collaborate with various primary schools to provide training to the teachers so that they are well equipped to handle children with special needs in their environments.

As a Special Educator and the founder of the organisation she believes that every individual with special needs should be equipped with a skill for them to earn and lead a self reliant, independent and a confident life ahead.

Mrs. Mangala, a Graduate in Science has had the work experience of working at Anupama English School, Shankarmutt for more than 04 yrs. Currently, she is working with us as a special educator. Her enthusiasm and her interest to learn and adapt and her love for children is an asset for our organisation.

Mrs. Jyothi

Art and Drawing Teacher

Mrs. Jyothi worked as drawing and art teacher for more than 20yrs in The Play House School, Mysore. She has also worked at Ashoka International School, Bangalore. She also has the experience of working with children with special needs also. She is able to engage students in their creative thinking process, help them explore their talent, expose students to imagine the world of Arts and crafts. She is able to identify the child’s needs and their interests and teach them accordingly. She also has conducted cultural programs for students. She also has anchored many programs and also participated in judging various cultural activities.
